Another amazing turnout this year! We raffled away three bikes and tons of other goodies such as steel-toed work boots, backpacks and sneakers. It's been chilly this time of year in South Florida, so everyone got new hats, gloves and socks. All our tummies were full of pizza, Cuban food, desserts, snacks, mac and cheese and a ton of other scrumptious foods. It's so rewarding seeing happy smiling faces :) There's sooo much to be thankful for! We thank the... Travaglino family for stepping up and stepping in, on our weekly Tuesday feedings. Without them, I don't know what we'd do! Thank you thank you thank you! XO We want to thank our most adorable couple Jo-Jo and Jonny, can they be any cuter!? Thanks for continuing your support every single week. We love you guys! Britney, we love you girl, thanks for continuing donating your time to help feed our friends, you're awesome! Thank you, Randy Lewis, for your amazing commitment to our homeless community. You're one of God's angels. We love you! Thank you, to the beautiful ladies and men from Casa Manabliss for putting so much love into the delicious food they prepared for our homeless friends and needy community. Love, love, love ~Namaste~ Today our homeless friends had a feast to remember and fresh haircuts from our very own James Capodanno (my love)... ~Happy Birthday Jonny and Jimmy~ For the past two years South Florida Sanctuary has been awarded $5k to our homeless charity. We are so proud to announce that for 2019, South Florida Sanctuary has been awarded $10k! How awesome is that??? This money allows us to provide the every day necessities that our homeless friends need so badly. Thank you Quantum Foundation for your continued generosity :) We are so blessed to have your help in order to help our friends in need. Our sister charity Restoration Bridge also received a most generous grant for their food pantry and services. We have been so blessed for two years in a row with this fantastic grant organization. They've given us grants of 5k each year for our homeless friends. These yearly grants allow us to have amazing events such as super bowl parties and holiday parties and allow us to give the best quality work boots to those homeless people that want to work, not to mention so many other things that are highly needed! The Foundation holds amazing work shops and events for the non-profit organizations to attend. These are just a couple we recently attended! We had such an awesome time.
